I was born in Syria but for many years now have been living in Jacksonville. Being part of such a different culture made me long for my own and I wanted to share my love for my country and let people savor the unique blend of Middle Eastern specialty that I grew up with.

Having left Syria during the crisis, I moved to Jordon and worked at different restaurants, slowly building up my expertise in Syrian cuisine. Life in Jordon was not easy but it was safe. I struggled to make ends meet and was lucky to have been able to work as most refugees weren’t allowed that privilege. Life was a constant struggle. There were some happy times too. I loved my work and found solace in feeding people and watching them enjoy my cooking.

Soon an opportunity to move to America came up, and I availed it. Experiencing the fast food culture made me realize the need for a more healthy and exotic addition to the taste buds of the locals. I started my very own food truck, which was an instant hit, especially the Syrian Shawarma. Today, there is a line of food enthusiasts and people of all cultures joined together in their love for this amazing menu and homemade taste. I look forward to seeing you there too!
